Star is a financial strategist for women looking to build sustainable wealth. The mission of SHEbuildingHER is to help women transition from making money to building sustainable wealth with long term stocks, and other financial tools. A key component of their mission is the facilitation of healing the money relationship.
Star's journey started in the San Francisco Bay Area, as a bio-pharmaceutical Microbiologist. Her personal experiences in corporate America led her to founding SHEbuildingHER, as a Financial Strategist & Educator for women.
Working in corporate America gave Star a clear view of the expanding gap between women (specifically of color) and everyone else as it pertained to money.
She realized she was a product of that gap. Star was making money in her "dream" job, however, she was NOT creating wealth, and had no idea where to start. That's when she set out on a journey of understanding and learning.
Eventually, as Star's life began to transition for the better, the women around her began to ask questions about their personal finances. Based on the way she was able to answer questions and teach them in a simple way, it led to founding SHEbuildingHER.
As a full-time entrepreneur and business owner, Star believes that not only do women deserve equity, they deserve an equitable experience when tackling personal finance and investing.
